Issuances clarify or support regulations. The New York State Office for the Aging’s issuances include program instructions (PIs), technical assistance memoranda (TAMs), and information memoranda (IMs). Specific EISEP issuances may be found on NYSOFA's Issuances page.
Training
Case Management Certification
All EISEP Case Managers must complete the competency-based online certificate training program in case management developed by The Center for Aging and Disability Education and Research (CADER) at Boston University. The certificate program provides Case Managers with an understanding of the core functions and responsibilities of case management and care coordination. These advanced practice skills are essential to effective practice and successful job performance.
For more information about CADER training, please visit NYSOFA Training Academy at Boston University.
On-Demand Recordings
On an annual basis, certified EISEP Case Managers are required to have at least 16 hours of training per year. These trainings may be an in-person event, live webinar, or prerecorded webinar. Click here for prerecorded webinars may be used to meet some of the training requirements for EISEP Case Managers. This list is not exhaustive and will be updated regularly.
EISEP Case Management Training Series
EISEP's case management training series and other NYSOFA-produced training modules are on NYSOFA's Training Page here.
