November is National Family Caregiver Month

One of New York State's greatest assets is the burgeoning number of volunteer caregivers who help ensure that older adults and those with disabilities are well taken care of and treated with respect and dignity.

In New York State, approximately three million caregivers provide more than 2.6 billion hours of care to loved ones each year. The economic value of this care is estimated at $32 billion.

The New York State Office for the Aging has a caregiver resource webpage with information and links to resources for caregivers.
