September 8, 2013 is Grandparent's Day: What's Your Perception?

The traditional notion of a 'grandparent' is of an aging older person, often with graying hair and wrinkles, that spoils their grandchildren and is most often seen at holiday gatherings. Although that may be true in some cases, there are also many grandparents who are the primary caregivers for their grandchildren.

In celebration of Grandparent's Day 2013, please visit this link to the U.S. Census Bureau. You will see some national statistics(External Link) that may surprise you, and change your perception of what a "traditional" grandparent is.

Happy Grandparent's Day!
