CDC releases "State of Aging and Health" Report

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently released a report, The State of Aging and Health in America 2013.(External Link) It provides a snapshot of our nation's progress in promoting prevention, improving the health and well-being of older adults, and reducing behaviors that contribute to premature death and disability.

Most people realize that a major key to fighting disease and illness successfully is early detection. What many people do not know is there are free screenings available to older adults.
