Ask about . . . Government Oversight
Subsidized Housing:
Most subsidized housing developments are built with financing from three major government housing agencies. These housing agencies oversee the eligibility criteria, rental policies and formulas for determining rent charges, and management procedures for the developments under their oversight.
If you wish to make a complaint about a development, its management, or its owner, you can contact the oversight agency:
- U. S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD)
